Pont du Gard
The Pont du Gard is
one of the greatest engineering feats of all the time, exceptional
monument. In 1985 Unesco make part of the world heritage romans
conceive and build around the 40 and 60 AD in order to bring water to Nimes
50kms long. The water was drawn from the sping of Eure at the foot of the
city to Uzes it flowed to Nimes.
